Bulk Symbol Settings — Clearer CSV Import Feedback
CSV import now warns about symbols not configured on the platform, and error messages show actionable details instead of generic text.
What changed
When importing symbol settings via CSV, the system now clearly tells you which symbols were skipped and why — before any changes are applied.
Skipped symbols are now visible
If your CSV contains a symbol that doesn't exist in a particular group on the platform, you'll see a warning like:
Row 5: group 'Default' / symbol 'EURUSDy' not found on platform — skipped
Previously these rows were silently accepted during import preview, only to fail later during processing. Now the change count in the preview accurately reflects what will actually be applied.
Better error messages
When a bulk operation encounters issues, you'll now see specific details:
- Which symbols were not found — instead of a generic "No matching symbols found", the message lists the exact symbol names that couldn't be matched
- What went wrong with the platform API — instead of "Admin API returned error", you'll see the actual response details to help diagnose the issue
These improvements apply to both CSV import and direct bulk updates from the settings matrix.
