Trades Copier — MT4 OTR Now Reads Truly Open Positions

On MT4 sources, the Open Trades Reconciliation report now reads currently open positions, not closed history. Re-generate MT4-source reports run before 6 May 2026.

A follow-up to the Trades Copier fix of 5 May. The Group filter change was correct, but it was operating on the wrong underlying data set on MT4 sources — and that's now fixed too.

What was wrong

When generating an OTR (Open Trades Reconciliation) report against an MT4 source, the system was reading from MT4's closed trades history instead of from the currently open positions cache. On accounts with substantial trading history this surfaced as reports listing tens of thousands of entries for accounts that have only a few hundred positions actually open right now.

The Group filter fix was real — but on top of the wrong data set, it still produced surprising counts. This fix targets the data source itself.

What changed

OTR on MT4 sources now reads open positions directly from the live in-memory cache the platform keeps for currently open trades. The Group / Logins / Symbols filters all continue to apply on top, exactly as before.

MT5 and MatchTrader were already reading from the correct place — no change there.

What you'll see

Re-generate any MT4-source OTR report run before 6 May 2026 — the count should now match what your live trading view shows, not historical totals.

Why this matters

OTR is meant to show what's open right now, so that's exactly what it has to read. Now it does.
