Trades Blotter — Book Filtering & Visual Improvements
Saved filters now support book type selection. Book types are displayed as colored badges in the trades table for quick visual identification.

Filter by Book Type
Saved filters in the Trades Blotter now let you choose which book types to include. When you activate a filter with book types selected, only matching trades appear in your live stream — no extra steps needed.
- Open the Filter Editor panel and you'll see your defined book types as colored pills below the query builder.
- Click to select the book types you want this filter to include (e.g., only "A-Book" trades).
- Save the filter — next time you activate it, both your SQL conditions and book type restrictions apply together.
- Filters without book types selected continue to show all trades, just like before.
Colored Book Badges in Trades Table
The Book Type column now shows each trade's book classification as a colored badge — matching the color you assigned to the book definition. This makes it easy to visually scan which book a trade belongs to at a glance.
Filter Pills
Each saved filter appears as a pill badge above the trades table. A small book icon indicates that a filter includes book type restrictions. Click any pill to switch filters instantly — your selection is remembered across page reloads.
Book Management
- Global Books: Use the toolbar button to define organization-wide book types with colors and matching rules.
- Per-Platform Books: Open platform settings (gear icon) → Books tab to customize book definitions for specific platforms.
All changes to book definitions are immediately reflected in the filter editor's book type selector.
