Compare against your own platform, without the setup
Quotes Comparer now picks up your own platform's address by itself, and a source that cannot connect tells you what is missing instead of retrying in silence.
Quotes Comparer compares your own book against the feeds you buy. Setting up an external source has always meant typing the provider's address; setting up your own platform was supposed to mean typing nothing at all, because we already know where your platform lives. That last part now actually works — pick the platform, and the connection details come from it.
If a source still cannot connect, it says so. Instead of a row stuck at "unknown" while something retries quietly in the background, you get the source marked offline together with the reason — most often a platform whose connection details are not filled in yet. One glance, one thing to fix.
We also tidied up the feeds page itself. Saving is now protected against an impatient double-click that used to leave you with two copies of the same source, names are checked properly before anything is stored, and switching a source on or off always shows you what was really saved.
Your own platform's book remains free to compare — you only pay for the external connections you choose to run.
