Before, a PayPal checkout link had a limited lifetime. If you opened an invoice, got busy, and came back to pay a while later, the old link could quietly stop working — with no obvious way forward.
Now, when you click Pay with PayPal, we check the link for you and, if it's no longer good, prepare a fresh, secure checkout right there and take you straight to it. You don't have to notice or think about any of it — paying should just work, whenever you choose to.
