Catch the arbitrage that only lasts a heartbeat

The Quotes Comparer now checks every single tick, so a crossed price that opens and closes in a fraction of a second no longer slips past between screen updates.

Some risks don't wait for the next refresh.

The Quotes Comparer updates the on-screen picture about once a second — plenty for reading prices at a glance. But a crossed price between two feeds can open and close in a fraction of that: a brief window where one feed's bid sits above another's ask. Blink, and the screen never shows it.

Now the comparison runs on every tick, not just when the screen refreshes. If a lock appears and vanishes between updates, the Comparer still catches it — and marks the moment for you.

In the overview grid, a small marker appears on any symbol that had one of these fleeting locks in the last moment, even if it looks perfectly in line right now. Open a symbol in Focus and you'll see the peak it reached during the interval, spelled out: which feed to buy from, which to sell to, and how large the gap got.

This matters most for your own platforms. A momentary mismatch between two of your books is real exposure, however briefly it lasts — and it's exactly the kind of thing that's easy to miss and costly to ignore. The Comparer now surfaces it the instant it happens, tick by tick.

The live picture still reads the same way it always has; this simply makes sure nothing fleeting gets past it. Pricing is unchanged — comparing your own platform books stays free.
