Our Terms, Privacy Policy and DPA are published

The three documents that govern your use of Toolbox are now published in full, and there is a one-time confirmation to complete before 1 December 2026.

We have published a proper Terms of Service, a Privacy Policy and a Data Processing Addendum for Toolbox. They are written in plain language, and you can read them at any time from your account menu — not only when we ask you to confirm them.

All three take effect on 1 November 2026. From that day Toolbox asks for a one-time confirmation. Everyone completes the personal confirmation. The organisation-level acceptance is completed once, by an administrator.

The personal confirmation says that you accept the Terms and have read the Privacy Policy, and it takes about a minute. The organisation-level one covers the commercial part of the Terms and the Data Processing Addendum — the agreement that governs the data your company entrusts to us. Because that one binds a company rather than a person, the administrator who completes it also signs a short separate statement that they are authorised to do so, and types in the registered legal name of the company being bound. We ask for that name every time rather than assuming the name you happen to use inside Toolbox is the one on the contract.

The confirmation stays open until 1 December 2026, and a reminder sits in Toolbox until it is done. After that date, access is suspended for whoever has not confirmed — for a colleague, until they complete their personal confirmation; for an administrator, until the organisation-level acceptance is in place. Nothing is deleted, and the period you have already used is invoiced as usual.

You can also decline. Declining signs you out and is recorded as your decision, not as a mistake. Write to info@cplugin.com and we will help with whatever you need next — an export of your data, a final invoice, or a change of mind.

We keep the exact edition you confirmed: the full text as it stood on that day, not a link to a page that may since have changed. A year from now, both sides can read the same words. When we change one of these documents we tell you in advance — as a rule at least two weeks before it takes effect — and ask for the confirmation once more.

The documents are worth five minutes of your time. They say what we do with your data, who can see it, how long we keep it, and what happens if either of us wants to stop.
